A picture worth 1,000 words: an “investor” in Puerto Rico picks up a rifle, to “feel safe” from Puerto Ricans

War Against All Puerto Ricans: Revolution and Terror in America’s Colony

On February 11 and 12, hundreds of vulture funds and politicians met in San Juan to discuss how to profit – as much as possible – from the misery of Puerto Rico. It was called the “2016 Puerto Rico Investment Summit.”

Many Puerto Ricans did not agree with this summit…people who’ve lost their jobs, pensions, even their houses, over the past few years…and some of them organized a peaceful protest in front of the summit. The following photo was taken by one of the U.S. “investors” at the summit. It shows him ready to shoot the protesters across the street.

This investor picked up an M4 carbine and Tweeted: “With the protest across the street I feel very safe inside!”

The M4 Carbine can shoot up to 90 rounds per minute, with a range up to 3,600 meters.

The magazines all contain 30 bullets each.

Here is some more information about the M4 carbine:

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS

The people of Puerto Rico have every right to express their opinion, regarding other people who are planning to inflict misery and “austerity” on them throughout the island.

As U.S, citizens, they also have a First Amendment right to peacefully assemble, and express this opinion…without someone waving a gun, then Tweeting about it on the internet.

This thoughtless “investor” waving an M4 carbine, reminds too many of us of the Ponce Massacre of 1937…when 17 innocent Puerto Ricans were murdered and hundreds more were wounded, for asserting that same First Amendment “freedom.”

Unfortunately, it is quite probable, that this “investor” knows nothing about the Ponce Massacre, or the history of exploitation of our island.

He is simply there to exploit.

And wave guns.

And “feel safe” for doing it.

A final question worth asking…why would the “2016 Puerto Rico Investment Summit” feel that a table selling M4 assault rifles, was necessary and appropriate to their investment conference?

  1. I found that postof Michael Harrison so revolting and so disrespectful to the island of Puerto Rico and Puerto Rican people alike that I made the time to copy and paste his post on my Facebook, Twitter, and blog pages. I also wrote him via facebook message on how horrible his post was. It may not be much. However, if more of us would expose and discouraged this in what ever way possible . We will discouraged these vultures away. So please join me in the attempt to expose these vultures. IN UNITY THEIR IS STRENGTH!

  4. This photograph has left me speechless and in shock,
But what do you expect from the USA.
A very violent society that loves their guns.
Other countries in the world do not have this kind of need or obsession for Guns, in order to lived.
So many Masacres in the USA!
    Children killing other Children.
    A Very sick society.
It is very scary to think that these are the kind of people investinting in our sacred land.
Yes sacred!! Borinquen is sacred! Brilliant
men of the past have written poetry, songs, stories of its beauty and uniqueness because we carried it in our blood.
We cherish it, value it and protect it.
Like I said before, whenever I travel in the world, I feel the land calling me. Must be the Taino DNA in me! She welcomes me back with open arms. This land is Sacred to us!

  5. So they had a conference on how to cut up their cake and eat it, and if push comes to shove, they were also selling M4 carbines that shoot 90 rounds per minute. Does that mean they can shoot and kill 90 ducks per minute or 90 Puerto Ricans per minute. I’m just trying to put this in perspective. ” it is useful occasionally to look at the past to gain a perspective on the present ” ( Fabian Linden ).

O-M-G!!!! Where is this world going to? This is senseless, callous, uncaring and “beyond the pale”!! You need an M4 carbine? And tweet: “With the protest across the street I feel very safe inside!” …. I find this appalling!!

  7. We must acknowledge our enemy for being our enemy and let’s stop pretending that they’re somehow naive participants of an invisible cabal.
