The 14th Amendment reads as follows:
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the state wherein they reside.”
This 14th Amendment was ratified in 1869 and upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1898 (US v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649). In that case, the Court gave citizenship to the San Francisco-born son of Chinese nationals, and set the judicial precedent which still exists today.
For 146 years, birthright citizenship is the law of the land. In one sentence it looks like this:
U.S. BIRTH = U.S. CITIZENSHIP
It is that simple and clear.
But Donald Trump wants to throw out the 14th Amendment.
He doesn’t say how he’ll do it…he just will…in order to “make America great again.”
Trump has a three-point-plan for greatness:
According to Trump anyone who disagrees with this plan – or disagrees with Trump – is a “loser.”
To many observers Trump is a buffoon, but there is something disturbingly serious about his campaign: large numbers of people are following him.
The latest poll gives him a commanding lead in the GOP field…32%…nearly three times as much as runner-up Jeb Bush with 12%.
Trump’s latest rally in Mobile, Alabama drew an enormous crowd, with U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions on hand saying, “I’m really impressed with your plan.”
Two other GOP presidential candidates – Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Lousiaina Gov. Bobby Jindal – have joined Trump in opposing birthright citizenship.

It is painful to envision what a Trump presidency will mean for Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, and Latinos in general. Single-handedly, President Trump will throw out the U.S. Constitution, persecute Latinos, and create historic levels of racial animosity.
All over America, communities will be sharply divided over “the immigrant question,” thanks to President Trump.
Even if he doesn’t win, Trump has already incited an angry debate. He has taken Chapter 16 of Anne Coulter’s hateful book Adios America, and used it to lure angry voters into his angry campaign.
Whether he wins or not, the legacy of Trump’s campaign will be more anger and hatred in America.
Since Trump’s ego cannot be managed, his campaign will never have a real campaign manager.
The closest thing to a campaign manager for the Trump campaign is Ann Coulter. She has already written his political platform, and he is following it to the letter.
Anger.
Hatred.
No Latinos.
No 14th Amendment.
And if you disagree with him, you are a loser.
To Donna Gleaves- Donald Trump’s ethnicity, according to Wikipedia, is German on his dad’s side and Scottish on his mom’s side. (That is partially my background too.) Please don’t despise those groups, Germans and Scots, because most (not all) but most are good people. The Donald is of the arrogant type. Yuck!

There are some Republicans like George Pataki of NY who don’t agree with Trump about ending the 14th Amendment, and would never enact legislation of that kind if elected president. Here is my slogan: “Dump Trump”.

Remember the commentary … “they came for the ________ (fill in the blank, ex: Asians and I didn’t speak up because I’m not Asian…the Canadian and I didn’t speak up– I’m not Canadian, the South Americans and I didn’t speak up–I’m not South American). This is what Trump is saying. By the way, what is his heritage?

All this rhetoric From Donald Trump, and the book written by Ann Coulter, puts me in a tendency to reminiscent of a time gone by, when a man called ADOLF HITLER who convinced his country that they were the MASTER RACE . After the smoke cleared the shock set in . Over six million Jews were slaughtered, million’s of other’s also,Polish,Gypsies, Russions,French and many other nationalities, including “PUERTO RICAN’S” who were,and still are, American citizens, and also shed their blood on foreign soil never to return. All in the name of Justice, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all, not just for the one percent who incite the majority to cause harm to their fellow man so that they can wield their power with money clenched in their hands and laughing all the way to the bank.
