The Empire’s Buffoon: Luís Muñoz Marín

War Against All Puerto Ricans: Revolution and Terror in America’s Colony

.

As “public-private partnerships” and U.S. vulture funds prepare to devour Puerto Rico, it is useful to examine how the island was cooked and served like a Thanksgiving turkey. It started in 1898 and accelerated in 1952, with the “Estado Libre Asociado” farce.

The principal buffoon of this farce was Luís Muñoz Marín, the so-called “governor” of Puerto Rico. Please view this video and decide for yourself…

  1. Evelyn…all the best wishes to you…I have much of my extended family still on the Island and I know you will be greeted upon your return by caring, honest, loving people from coast to coast…Be well and be happy.

  3. Well said Greg Medina de Kinsman. I too would hear about Operation Bootstrap and the “great” Luis Muñoz Marin. I will be moving back to my island in a few months and while I am happy that I will be spending the last years of my life in my island, am also sad for the state it is in. So sad that it has been controlled by a Bully and governed by corrupt politicians. The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that “the nations of the world respect strong countries that stand up for themselves.” They do not respect weak and obsequious countries that bow their heads.” It is up to the people.

  4. I have been reading the e-mails regarding Puerto Rico. Some I read for information regarding the island. The one sent today was not all true. Especially the comment about J-lo. If you are going to inform Puerto Rican’s about the island please be professional.

  6. I have to admit that as a child, all I ever heard about LMM was about “Operation Boot-Strap” and how he single-handedly saved the Island, “La Isla de mi Encanto” where the Piña Colada fountains flow 24 hours-a-day. But my questions were always:

    1… “saved us from what?”
2… “why did he use only one hand?”

And since then I have learned that:

1…He saved us from freedom, economic viability, autonomy, sovereignty, self-respect, dignity or even state-hood
2…He used only one hand because his other hand was on an opium pipe, a heroin needle or a Piña Colada.

And over the decades every time I have flown into the “LMM International Airport”, I always look around for the ghosts of his legions of clapping circus seals balancing their political balls on their noses…but I never see any of his political payasos looking for their cosmic “circo”…they are nowhere to be seen.

Why? They’re too busy planning their next “Wine & Cheese” at Palmas del Mar with super-models posing for photo-spreads on German-designed yachts and of course their next junket to Disney’s Magic Kingdom to pose for more insufferable selfies with plastic Mickey and Minnie.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Islanders remain waaaaaaaaaaaay under-unemployed (at best), looking at their closed schools and hospitals or packing their suitcases for a new life on the US Mainland’s new 21st Century middle-class, electric gated suburban ghettoes of Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, Boston, Providence, San Antonio, Houston, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City and Madison, WI.

And they wave good bye with their $1000 “smart-phones” in their manicured hands from 35,000 feet to “La Isla de mi E’panto”.

And embarrassingly they envision Rita Moreno tossing her skirt in the air and screaming…”Everything Free in America”. or J-Low shaking her tattoo’d ass on a red-carpet somewhere, escorted by her latest knuckl-dragging, ghetto-thug with his ass hanging out of his pants waiting to high-5, fist-bump and “yo-wassup” for the cameras.

Ay Luisito, te debemos tanto…How can we ever repay you (in food stamps)?
