Meet Oscar López Rivera

War Against All Puerto Ricans: Revolution and Terror in America’s Colony

After 35 years, Oscar López Rivera will finally go home. Millions of e-mails, phone calls, and petition signatures…hundreds of marches and rallies…until finally Pres. Obama commuted his sentence.

But many people don’t know about Oscar’s childhood, early years and family life. Or his community activism in Chicago, or his heroism in Vietnam. This excellent video pulls it all together, all in one place…

As the largest 501(c)(3) Latino TV broadcasting network in the US and Puerto Rico, HITN (Hispanic International Television Network) provides excellent research and information about our Latino community. This wonderful video about Oscar López Rivera, is a perfect example of HITN’s programming and community involvement.

In the future, HITN will develop many more programs and videos about Puerto Rico, Oscar López Rivera, and the history and future of our island.

Well done, HITN !

  2. It pleases me that in this country in spite of its discrepancies we can still take a stand for what we believe in hopes that true justice will prevail in the end. The vote on June 11 I hope will express the will of the people and pray this silent voice will not only be heard but real change will occur once and for all. Unless the people rise and do what’s required for an organized community seeking change, destiny will prevail.

  3. Dear Remy and Nelson: We’ve never met in person. But following your work I dare to consider you both as my friends and to thank you both for what you’ve done for showing the World the Truth about Oscar and the crucifiction of Puerto Rico.
We’re all ready to rejoice together for the blessing of the Resurrection. Simply, Thanks.
