Juan Bobo has submitted legal briefs with the FCC and the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding his inclusion in the upcoming presidential debates.
“The US is violating the 1st, 8th, 13th and 14th amendment rights of every Puerto Rican,” Bobo announced yesterday, in front of the Lincoln Memorial. “But in 83 hours of presidential debates, and 64 hours of political conventions, Puerto Rico was mentioned only three times…for a total of 45 seconds.”
For this reason, Juan Bobo announced his campaign for president of the US, “before three million more Puerto Ricans have to leave the island. We cannot remain invisible.”
Here are some of the violations alleged in the legal papers of Juan Bobo:
First Amendment – because the US press has “completely distorted the economic and political facts about Puerto Rico, and placed the entire island under a de facto Gag Law. Puerto Ricans have no voice in the U.S.”
Eighth Amendment – because Puerto Ricans have been subjected to 118 years of cruel and inhuman punishment, which will soon reach unprecedented levels.
Thirteenth Amendment – because no US citizen may be subjected to slavery or involuntary servitude, except in punishment for a crime. With the passage of the PROMESA bill, the entire island of Puerto Rico has been forced into involuntary servitude.
Fourteenth Amendment – because Puerto Ricans are not receiving the equal protection of the laws. They are supposedly “US citizens” yet their pensions, jobs, union rights, electrical and water rates, consumer prices, sales taxes, public schools, beaches…and soon their minimum wage…are all under attack, with no legal recourse whatsoever.
According to Juan Bobo, if the US refuses to include him in the presidential debates, then “Puerto Rico should demand its independence immediately, before the next president is sworn in on January 20, 2017.”

Miguel, I would be ecstatic if a reporter would just ask DT to produce the IRS notice that his taxes are under audit. I do not take the word of Donald Trump for anything. A Doubting Thomas, Gronda.

In total agreement … “According to Juan Bobo, if the US refuses to include him in the presidential debates, then “Puerto Rico should demand its independence immediately, before the next president is sworn in on January 20, 2017.” May sound funny … but look deeper!!
