The U.S. fumigates Puerto Rico

Book - 12-10

The U.S. is fumigating Puerto Rico in several ways: a Financial Control Board will soon arrive, many beaches will be privatized, and “public private partnerships” will spring up all over the island.

But the U.S. will also fumigate Puerto Rico with deadly NALED poison.

NALED is supposedly an insecticide…but it is actually a “leading edge clinical trial drug.”

Puerto Ricans are very familiar with “clinical trial” drugs, since many of the clinical trials are conducted on Puerto Ricans.

WHERE IT COMES FROM

NALED is technically called Dibromo-2-Dichloroethylphosphate. This is a derivative of Dibromo-3-Chloropropane (also known as DBCP), which farmers in all 50 states stopped using as of 1985.

An excellent study of DBCP occurs in the book Circle of Poison, which is still available on Amazon:

The book became an award-winning film, with interviews of Jimmy Carter and the Dalai Lama.

In Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala and Panama, thousands of agricultural workers sued the Dole Food Co. for serious illness caused by DBCP. In Nicaragua alone, Dole had to pay $600 million in DBCP court judgments.

Here in the US, as recently as 2007, a Los Angeles jury awarded $3.2 million to six farm workers who were rendered sterile by DBCP.

The DBCP experimental derivative called NALED is now produced by Valent USA, which has a global collaboration agreement with Monsanto.

WHAT NALED ACTUALLY DOES

NALED will not only kill mosquitoes.

It also kills bees…which will impair pollination all over Puerto Rico.

It has “chronic and acute health effects on both animals and the environment.”

http://www.toxipedia.org/display/toxipedia/Naled

It is “very toxic to most organisms,” and has a “severe skin and eye irritant” which can be ingested through food or water.

http://extoxnet.orst.edu/pips/naled.htm

NALED exposure can cause tremors, blurred vision, breathing difficulty, pulmonary atrophy, and cardiac depression. In severe cases it can cause convulsions, paralysis, coma or death.

Dr. Fernando Cabanillas, an internationally known oncologist, is the director of the Auxilio Centro de Cancer in San Juan, and a Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Texas School of Medicine. After years of research and client diagnoses, Dr. Cabanillas has found, that NALED is directly linked to cancer in humans.

NALED IS NOT VERY EFFECTIVE

Here is the greatest irony…for all this damage, NALED is not very effective.

The US government will pay hundreds of millions of dollars to Valent USA and Monsanto, for a “mosquito control” program that does not even work.

An 11-year study was conducted by the New York State Dept. of Health, and published in 1997 by the Journal of the American Mosquito Control Association. It found that NALED curbed the mosquito population in the very short term…but over the entire 11-year period, it was worse than useless …because the mosquito population multiplied 15-fold (1,500%).

In Puerto Rico, Dr. Luis Hernández is a life-long entomologist who is frequently hired by many municipalities throughout the island, as an insect-control professional. According to Dr. Hernández, NALED fumigation is highly inefficient, because many of the mosquitoes are indoors.

So who does this “Zika control program” really benefit? The people of Puerto Rico…or the stockholders, lobbyists and CEOs of Monsanto and Valent USA?

NALED in the WATER SUPPLY…because you owe us TWO million!

The CDC, which is so “concerned” about public health in Puerto Rico, recently announced that as of yesterday, July 1, it will no longer monitor the water supply of Puerto Rico…because Puerto Rico owes them $2 million.

https://waragainstallpuertoricans.com/2016/06/16/us-to-cut-water-monitoring-because-of-puerto-rico-debt/

This is very convenient, because one of the primary means of human exposure to NALED is through the water supply of Puerto Rico.

So precisely when Puerto Rico will be fumigated with NALED, is when the CDC decides to stop monitoring the toxic presence of NALED, in the water supply of Puerto Rico.

In this manner, the CDC will pay hundreds of millions of dollars to Valent USA and Monsanto to “protect” the public health of Puerto Rico…at the same time that it refuses to monitor that public health, because of an alleged debt of two million.

This makes as much sense as Juan Bobo holding a press conference, to combat the Zika virus with ice cream cones.

  5. Naled was only recommended by the CDC, “The government of Puerto Rico is currently considering using aerial spraying as part of an integrated mosquito control program to reduce the number of mosquitoes that can carry Zika virus. The decision will be made by the government of Puerto Rico. CDC is providing technical assistance. “

  6. This article claims that who really benefits from the aerial spraying “naled” is Monsanto and Valent corporations. ( “So who does this “Zika control program” really benefit? The people of Puerto Rico…or the stockholders, lobbyists and CEOs of Monsanto and Valent USA?”). What evidence or proof or connection that supports this claim. Is there any official documents from the us or puerto rican government that show the involvement of this companies and in what way will they benefit. Or other piece of evidence.

  7. “War against all Puerto Ricans” by Nelson A, Denis, The book was rightfully named as it only serves to spread anti American propaganda in order to bring about the division of our Puerto Rican Communities. It is this type of Journalism that brings about uncertainty, and doubt among our Puerto Rican people and serves to divide rather than unite our people. Rather than spread the poison, Mr. Denis would do well to EDUCATE our people on why he feels that Independence for Puerto Rico would serve Puerto Rico best. Not through re-iterating our volatile past, facts which we all know too well, rather by providing a bridge to a prosperous future that we can all work towards achieving together. Mr. Nelson, We can’t change the past, But we can all work together towards a prosperous future for our Puerto Rican people.

  8. I enjoyed your Juan Bobo analogy. This is heartbreaking. All of this is. I didn’t get around to responding to your response to my comment on your post about Milhouse and the PROMESA bill, but it is very dark and depressing. I really wish that there were something I could do.

  10. I sometimes ask myself why is this happening to such a harmless, powerless land and people? Precisely for those same reasons. Because they are such a harmless, powerless land and people? As a youngster I recognized our plight was uniquely our own, and it is precisely for that reason I’ve learned to seek a higher power and pray for accountability. I believe that day will come. We’re taught to not take vengeance into our hand but to let Him whom is just do it for us.

  11. I THINK THAT THE FUMIGATING PROSCESS IS ANOTHER WAY, OF TRYING TO KILL INSECTS AND POISONING THE POPULATION OF PUERTO RICO. THIS IS VERY IRRESPONSABILITY , , ALL THE BEES WILL DIE AND THERE WILL BE NO MORE POLLINATION OF AGRICULTURE . THIS IS VERY WRONG. BORICUAS , OUR –ISLAND AND EVERY ONE IN IT , IS BEING POISON SLOWLY, MORE NOW THAN EVER .

  12. This is evil and illegal. Puerto Rico needs to understand their power and educate the people of why the USA is the biggest Empire that has spread its carnage than any nation in perhaps human history. The control over the media allows it to spout out lies and distractions while the people are taxed, sold and poisoned over and over again. Puerto Rico needs Independence and needs to join with like-minded nations and the United Nations to Stand Up. I pray that human rights are heeded, because the world is in the same boat. Economic and Corporate Control that nullifies right governance and democracy.
