Donald Trump to Puerto Rico: Drop Dead
On May 4, 2016, in a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer, Donald Trump gave his first official statement regarding Puerto Rico.
When asked what he’d do for the island, he offered no solutions to its economic chaos. Trump’s long convoluted answer had only one clear theme: “I would not bail them out.”

In responding to Wolf Blitzer, Trump displayed his usual narcissism:
“Many of the top people, people in my category, would use the [bankruptcy] laws,” said Trump.
But then apparently, for Trump, the people of Puerto Rico are not the “top people” and they are not “in his category.”
According to Trump the people of Puerto Rico “have too much debt…so no, I would not bail them out.”

However, in his usual fashion, Donald Trump gave a different view to Fox News. Trump told Fox that the Puerto Rico bondholders should “take a hit.”

But the island is in an immediate and severe economic crisis. There is no time for double-talk. We need to know as soon as possible, exactly what is Trump’s position.

I am lost i read all about puertorican cant vote for president they dont pay taxes and so on cant someone tell me them why i have been paying taxes since i was 14 and started working and how i vote in every election since i enroll in the selective service at 18 and also why the big deal puerto rico needs financial assistance well all the others states gets their federal buget every year and like the others last time i check puerto rico is part of the us and pay taxes talk about using the us military for free only a moroone can say this look at history when the shit hit the wall we are the first one to go and dont need to draft us like others and the last one out because we are warriors and fight till victory or die with our m16 in our grip we dont ask for give aways we demand whats our and those that dont like it can stove it mr. I’m puerto Rican I hate to say this but trump is right we can’t fix this issue I mean look at how many years we’ve been getting money from the US watch this our own government sucks up all the money that was suppose to go to us the people of Puerto Rico, what have we done to fix it “put more corrupt people en Los partidos” if we can get a serious person to run our island right now we wouldn’t be asking for a bail out common people we need to accept this our own puerto Rican politics destroyed our way of living that now we have to depend on other parties no we need to get ourselves out by putting all that our government stole from us regrowth our sugar canes, rice, and other factors and try to sell them to other countries let’s get this market growing we where sepost to be dead or what you guys forgot our sugar almost got us exterminated yes it’s been past a century that we where lucky, that’s what we are going to live by, also all of our people that died to protect America’s freedom and values and flag yes we are Americans and believe me we need to clean house in Puerto Rico cause if we don’t we are going to sink to the bottom of the ocean hey Dominicans and Cubans they have their island send them back the same way they came in we took a big hit living America’s values now we can fix this or we get to suffer the same faith you choose

Every country has a debt to the United States but to actually say another remark like that is utterly uncalled for. Puerto Rico is part of the United States and has been since they have been using the island as a military purpose and gain for the U.S so why not help where they are benefiting from. We have one of the largest import and export island that has benefited on both sides so for you to actually say NO for help, will greatly and with no problem respect or earn our vote.

I read somewhere of a prophecy that the world would not see another inaugural of another President in the United States. I was alot Leary about this prophecy just as the others like the Y2K, Nostradamus, etc.
Yet as I see how this political insanity of the reublicans, Donald Trump, and HilaryHilary. The breakdowns of our economies. The way in which neighbors treat neigbors. Not to mention all the evil in the world, Issl and all of the destruction around the world.
All of this leads me to believe the breakdown of all order will cease and chaos will eventually ensue. God help us all.

Why should PR be bailed-out? PR has the income and is choosing to pay for other items, ignoring their constitution which requires public debt be paid first and foremost. PR’s “ELA” system of governence is inherently corrupt.
Corrupt politicians from all parties promised “craddle to grave” entitlements at little to no cost to the people of Puerto Rico, paid for with borrowed funds. “ELA” chased away DoD, and has been hostiled to many past and present businesses. The very system is chasing away professionals.
