In its latest news magazine, The Nation published an extensive article, about the dictatorship the US is now creating in Puerto Rico.
The article traces the history of the US-Puerto Rico relationship over the past 118 years. It also analyzes the hidden congressional agenda, and outright lies, in the new “PROMESA” law which will impose a Financial Control Board on Puerto Rico…
Written by Nelson Denis, the Nation article incorporates much of the history in his book, War Against All Puerto Ricans.
With a pending reduction of the minimum wage, and the looming privatization of the entire island economy, the history of US-Puerto Rico relations must be clearly understood.
For a history of the War Against All Puerto Ricans, read the book…

I sense the people in Puerto Rico are not aware of all this information. They think the Financial Control Board is coming to create jobs and develop the economy of Puerto Rico instead the Finacial Control Board is coming to Collect the Money!
I don’t think they are aware of this!
This had to be published in Spanish and in Puerto Rico.

The US controls military service, foreign relations, customs, postal service, immigration, communications, television, judiciary, tariffs, currency, radio, commerce, shipping industry, social security, banks, trade laws, maritime laws, cabotage laws, no coverage of bankruptcy law exclusively for Puerto Rico, and now ” THE GREAT PROMESA LAW”. Welcome to an island in the 21ś CENTURY working for slave wages, it doesn’t get any better than this $4.25. Now I understand when they say the great American Dream not the great Puerto Rican Dream. Ex Secretary of State (1953-1959) Foster Dulles once stated our only objective is United States interest not to win friends. Independence is the only salvation not 21ś CENTURY SLAVERY. Puerto Rico is a slave state working for their master since 1898. Maybe the congress and the speaker of the house Ryan can bring some slaves to Washington D.C. And give them medals and sing La Borinqueña and at least say thank you for 118 years of your SLAVE WORK. And thank you for helping us kill Don Pedro Albizu Campos and the Nationalist movement, you are very good boys.
Yes only when Congress get paid and then they will have it clean-up… I would have to say that congress can not sale any Part of Puerto Rico while the gov’t of Puerto Rico is in control. But on the other hand The gov’t of Puerto Rico Could sale Vieques to anyone and in Return congress can shit without a Pot in return. I would like to know what will the Unites Nations will have a say on the sale If the United Sates does sale Vieques.

If you had any historical education, you will brace yourself for what’s coming. Truth be told what we are being pushed to migrate. They took the native American lands and massacred the Indians. Oops..
