Bernie Sanders is currently in a statistical dead heat with Hillary Clinton – nationwide – in the Democratic nomination for president of the United States. Bernie is coming on so strong, that he was recently on Saturday Night Live.
For this reason, it is important to know what Bernie has said about Puerto Rico. Here is a video, of Sanders speaking about the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis:
It is also helpful to know what Bernie Sanders is saying about the U.S. economy, and how this information is being distributed.
Here is a video of Sanders on the floor of the U.S. Senate:
Almost every other candidate, including Hillary Clinton, has accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars from the hedge funds that are strangling Puerto Rico. Not Sanders.
It is time to take a good, hard look at Bernie Sanders.
I for one, am endorsing him.

Heriberto Rivas, I suggest you watch Bernie Sander’s rally speeches and debates so you can find out about what he says he will do 🙂 2 Of course you arent getting the full story w 2 short clips
Bernie speaks about what others shouldn’t do, nothing about what he’ll do. Calling it a tragedy, but what is he going to do about the tragedy?
I’d like to see Clinton win, due the great job her husband did and he’d be there. This is cheap talk, Bernie didn’t say anything about how he intends to deal with PR. Can’t get blood out of a rock doesn’t say anything and both candidates should be questioned about how they intend to proceed with PR. I’m sure both will say, with details their plan, but this doesn’t say much.
WE True Puerto Rican want independence first and not have in extra debt .it’s nice to know that Mr. Bernie Sander express concern but let be real it just in expression .we all know about renewable energy. Real Puerto Ricans want to do for the island ,not what the island can do for some one else. be real Puerto Rico for Puerto Ricans no one else . it’s time it’s our turn now. step a side and let true people of the island do what must be done for our island .
I feel the same way. He deeply cares about the average person! Very glad he has the courage and the empathy to care about what is been happening to the island of Puerto Rico.
It doesn’t really matters that Sanders does not have personal ties to Puerto Rico, his policies would greatly benefit all Puertoricans and deserves our support.
