A dictatorship is about to be installed in Puerto Rico.
Called a “Financial Control Authority,” it is actually a collection agency for several dozen U.S. hedge funds.
Yesterday, on January 19, the author of War Against All Puerto Ricans exposed this scheme for what it is: a glaring, shameless dictatorship.
Here is the exposé, as published in the New York Daily News:

Amazingly, the Senate and House Republicans in Washington, D.C. (particularly Sen. Orrin Hatch) claim this Authority will “educate and benefit” Puerto Rico. But as Pedro Albizu Campos once wrote, “In the U.S. owning one man makes you a scoundrel, but owning an entire nation makes you a colonial benefactor.”
That is precisely the situation in Puerto Rico today.
One Hundred Years of Solitude, followed by a Financial Control Authority
This “Financial Control Authority” will be the judge, jury, prosecutor, and ruler of Puerto Rico. It will control the economy and manage all its money. It will tell the Commonwealth government what to do, when to jump, and how high.
The people of Puerto Rico need to understand this Authority, its sweeping powers, and its intentions for the island.
Thank you to the Daily News, for publishing this editorial about the Financial Control Authority.

This control board in order to “save money” can make a “mistake” such as the one that Flint, Michigan is going through. I really hope that the so called leaders in Puerto Rico resist this attack.

Carpetbaggers are back: opportunist, and exploitation by outsiders. Anyone-public official or otherwise -who defies or obstructs the authority will be guilty of ” criminal misdemeanor ” and subject to suspension without pay, and removal from office. They just might resort back to 1937, when the people marched to commemorate the abolition of slavery in Puerto Rico by the governing Spanish National Assembly in 1873 and to protest the United States government imprisonment of the party’s leader Pedro Albizu Campos on sedition charges. ( seditious means : for trying to get those heavy chains off their back that was imposed on them ) In 1937 the power in charge ( U. S. ) used the islands own people to beat and kill unarmed marchers, all in the pursuit of Liberty and Justice for All. This is not called anti -American, this is called anti-abuse. When I see abuse I just call it for what it is, Abuse, Murder, false lmprisonment, oppression, opportunist, exploiters. It is what it is.
