Oscar López Rivera was jailed for his beliefs.
He is the longest-standing Puerto Rican political prisoner, in all of US history.
He has been in jail 34 years for “seditious conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States.” In other words…he was imprisoned not for an action, but for a principle.
They took Oscar’s freedom, but they could not steal his talent.
